Basketball

Since we formed the team until now, we have won countless trophies, culminating in being recognized by the Romanian Basketball Federation, who have invited us to open the Harlem Globetrotters’ Romanian demonstration tournament in March 2008.

History:

We started the sports programs in 1998, being the first wheelchair basketball team in Romania. Since then, we have convinced other wheelchair users to form their own teams. That is also when we organized the first international wheelchair basketball competition from Romania, with the Albanian national team’s participation.

• Winners of the Oradea Pinochio Cup in 2005
• IIIrd place in the Moldavian International Tournament
• IVth place in the Bosnian International Tournament
• Various demonstrations
