Training courses on International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (CIF) are dedicated to  Romania’s professionals who work in the field of services for people with disabilities. The course introduces the basic CIF concepts and ways to use CIF to develop and document interventions dedicated to people with disabilities.

These courses promote good practice examples and improve the services available to wheelchair users in Romania as close as possible to the localities where they live. Training courses on wheelchair provision services are based on World Health Organization (WHO) training packages.

Courses on the use of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (CIF, a WHO tool) support professionals to work in teams and adopt skills-centered principles. The courses change the current – predominantly medical – approach of disability and promote a common language among specialists.

Since 2016, the CIF course has been accredited by the National Authority for Qualifications (NAQ).
