The foldable backrest and quick release axles facilitate transportation by train or by car. The foot and armrests must be detachable and adjustable in height to allow adaptation to each user\u2019s needs. The quick release axle facilitates easy removal and installation of wheels. The foldable backrest and the vertical folding system facilitate wheelchair storage in small spaces.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/gemini2-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2854 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/gemini2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"181\" height=\"181\" srcset=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/gemini2-1.jpg 300w, https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/gemini2-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/gemini2-1-55x55.jpg 55w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 181px) 100vw, 181px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Special positioning equipment for children with cerebral palsy:<\/strong> this equipment, along with education, care, support and stimulation, enables many children with cerebral palsy to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives.<\/p>\n<p>The special seating and positioning equipment for children with cerebral palsy answers a basic need: having a stable support that allows the child to\u00a0develop a level of independence and mobility formerly unattainable.<\/p>\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication \u2013 a non-verbal child may be able to learn how to use an augmentative communication system, such as a picture\/symbol board.<\/li>\n<li>Eating \u2013 the child may be able to eat sitting upright, without fear of choking. Some children may learn how to eat independently.<\/li>\n<li>Mobility \u2013 using a special seating and positioning equipment, many children learn to propel independently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The seating equipment must allow for individual adaptations such as: backrest, seat and footrest tilt angle, backrest and footrest height, seat depth, detacheable headrest, belts, abductor cushions and table.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sports wheelchairs<\/strong>: by playing different sports, wheelchair users gain confidence and self-esteem. There are special wheelchairs for sports such as tennis or basketball.
