While today we do not produce wheelchairs anymore, Motivation`s most important principle remains that of providing the best mobility\u00a0solution to each person who asks for our support. <strong>Motivation\u2019s wheelchairs<\/strong> are adapted to the individual needs of each user, and are always accompanied by\u00a0<strong>training and advice for independent use<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Motivation promotes <strong>wheelchair sports<\/strong> an important argument in support of the right of people with disabilities to integration. Wheelchair sports encourage users to recognize and appreciate\u00a0their ability to remain active and involved in society. Wheelchair sports events are occasions to celebrate mobility, performance and fair play.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The employment services for people with disabilities<\/strong>\u00a0offered by Motivation aim to limit one of the most dramatic effects of disability \u2013 the isolation of the individual \u2013 through social and professional inclusion. Lack of constant occupation and the unsatisfied need to belong to a group and to be valued by its members make disability harder to bear, causing damage to individual and family welfare. To address these needs, our service mediates labor market placement of persons with disabilities who can and want to work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The\u00a0IMPACT\u00a0Romania\u00a0project<\/strong>, initiated in 2002, aimed to provide community-based services for children with severe developmental disabilities abandoned in state-run institutions. Through this program we transferred 37 children with disabilities from T\u00e2nc\u0103be\u0219ti Placement Center (Ilfov). Of these, 22 still live in Motivation\u2019s group-homes. Here, they receive appropriate services for their evolving needs, enjoy friendships and life in the Motivation family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-58","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 -
