{"id":70,"date":"2015-12-09T11:48:12","date_gmt":"2015-12-09T09:48:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/?page_id=70"},"modified":"2017-09-13T15:14:28","modified_gmt":"2017-09-13T12:14:28","slug":"wheelchair-basketball","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/programmes\/active-rehabilitation-independent-living\/adapted-sport\/wheelchair-basketball\/","title":{"rendered":"Wheelchair basketball"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p>The wheelchair basketball is a demanding but spectacular sport.<\/p>\n<p>The Motivation Wheelchair Basketball Team is member of the Romanian Basketball Federation since 2002.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since team&#8217;s foundation we have won countless trophies, culminating with the recognition of the Romanian Basketball Federation that invited us to open the demonstration tour of Harlem Globetrotters in Romania in March 2008.<\/p>\n<p>History:<br \/>\nIn 1998, we started sports programs, being the first organization in Romania to have a wheelchair basketball team. Since then we&#8217;ve been able to convince other wheelchair users to form other basketball teams.
