These home care services are available over a period of three months.<\/p>\n<p>Four children with mobility disabilities had an easier access to education thanks to the <strong>assisted transportation service, <\/strong>through which they were able to go to school.<\/p>\n<p>Also, during the group support activity, four wheelchair users participated in individual and group psychologic counselling. Thus, they had the opportunity to share their experience with the independent living trainer and to find solutions to the challenges they face.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>ACCESS <\/strong><strong>to Education, Services and Community for wheelchair users<\/strong><em> is financed through the 2009 \u2013 2014 EEA grants, within the NGO Fund in Romania, with the amount of 245,136 Euros.\u00a0<\/em>The project is implemented in the Bucharest \u2013 Ilfov region, between March 1, 2014 and April 30, 2016 and develops three new services: assisted transportation and accessibility, home care and group support.
