The event took place at the sports hall in Izvorani, the Olympic Sports Complex Sydney and it brought together 35 wheelchair users from Prahova, D\u00e2mbovi\u021ba, Ilfov, C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i, Bac\u0103u, Neam\u021b, Bra\u0219ov, Sibiu and Hunedoara. The activity aimed to promote the abilities of people with disabilities and of an independent life for people with mobility disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/motivation.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/turneu_sr.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6054 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/motivation.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/turneu_sr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"365\" height=\"286\" \/><\/a>The athletes who attended the event came from\u00a0Wheels of Change Sports Club Association, Supernova Neamt Sports Club Association, \u00a0Motivation Ilfov Regional Association\u00a0for Sports for Persons with Disabilities, Astral Wheels Sports Club Association and Be Independent Sports Club Association. The team from Neamt County finished the competition on the first place and it was followed by the teams from Prahova, Sibiu, Ilfov and Brasov.<\/p>\n<p>The event was organized and financed within the project &#8220;Wheels of Change &#8211; independent living for wheelchair users&#8221;, conducted by Motivation Romania Foundation in partnership with the Romanian Basketball Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Between October 16-18, Motivation Romania Foundation, together with Romanian Basketball Federation the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the Wheelchair Basketball Tournament.
