Read below how our colleagues helped, under the motto <em>We do not leave anyone behind!<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Our partners from the Agape Foundation in Sweden collected donations that they have distributed in Romania<br \/>\n<\/strong>On March 18-21, we organized an activity of sorting and delivery of donations consisting of clothes, hygiene products, non-perishable food (coffee, tea, sweets), toys. All these products were collected by our partners from the Agape Foundation in Sweden, as part of their initiative to support refugees from Ukraine. With the help of the volunteers from Motivation and Special Olympics Romania, these donations reached 480 refugees, out of which 320 were accommodated in Gala\u021bi, Ia\u0219i and Neam\u021b, and 160 &#8211; at a school in Ukraine. Our colleagues from the Bucharest-Ilfov team sorted the products, organized them in individual and reusable packages. Representatives of the Agape Foundation in Sweden and of Motivation Romania Foundation, including colleagues from our regional teams visited nine refugee centers and donated the products to women and children in Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10413\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10413\" style=\"width: 594px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/3.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10413\" src=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"594\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10413\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Volunteers from Motivation and Special Olympics Romania sorting the donations collected by Agape Foundation in Sweden.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10416\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10416\" style=\"width: 617px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/275960498_646542926776269_2246809863849646691_n.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10416\" src=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/275960498_646542926776269_2246809863849646691_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"617\" height=\"463\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10416\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The representative of Agape Foundation in Sweden together with our colleagues and the representative of a school in Ukraine, where refugees are accommodated.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Motivation Romania Foundation donates wheelchairs, walking frames, crutches and canes for refugees<\/strong> <strong>in need of such mobility equipment.<\/strong><br \/>\nSince the beginning of March, we donated 25 wheelchairs and 40 other mobility consisting of walking frames, crutches, canes etc. Some of the equipment has reached adult and children &#8211; refugees from Ukraine who had to leave their mobility equipment behind, while others are at checkpoints in the country, available to volunteers providing support for the elderly or for people with mobility disabilities crossing the border. We can still offer this type of support in the form of mobility equipment.
