She had just joined the Motivation team and told me about the young people with disabilities adopted by Motivation, how seriously ill some of them were, and the care, love, and attention they received in the Motivation family. It seemed extraordinary to me that some people thought of giving a chance for a better life to children with disabilities abandoned by their parents.<\/p>\n<p>In the years that followed, I heard about camps for children with disabilities or young people who were taught to use a wheelchair and be independent.<\/p>\n<p>The text message donation campaign was a handy option to help, month by month, by donating 2 euros via text message with the word ACTIV to 8844. It seemed natural to me to remain a recurring donor because I know that my donation, no matter how small, turns into a wheelchair for a person in need.<\/p>\n<p>We who do not use any mobility device often complain about the smallest of things, without being aware and properly appreciating the freedom of movement we have.<\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p>The Wheelchair Fund is the initiative whereby you, as an individual or a company representative, give back freedom of movement to children and adults with mobility disabilities in Romania, via custom wheelchairs donated to those who need them.<\/p>\n<p>The beneficiaries are children and adults who have a mobility disability from birth or acquired as a result of a car accident, a plunge, a fall from height, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Give back mobility to people with disabilities through wheelchairs adapted to their needs: donate 2 euros monthly by sending a text message with the word ACTIV to 8844.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I first found out about Motivation Romania from a friend, in 2004.
