{"id":6430,"date":"2025-04-11T11:46:03","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T08:46:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/?p=6430"},"modified":"2025-06-02T12:01:08","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T09:01:08","slug":"mobility-matters-dacia-for-romania-foundation-supports-the-wheelchair-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/blog\/mobility-matters-dacia-for-romania-foundation-supports-the-wheelchair-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobility matters: Dacia for Romania Foundation supports the Wheelchair Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p data-start=\"62\" data-end=\"249\">Funda\u021bia Dacia pentru Rom\u00e2nia (Dacia for Romania Foundation) joins the Wheelchair Fund program, run by Motivation Romania Foundation, in a partnership that places mobility at the heart of a dignified life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"251\" data-end=\"457\">As part of this initiative, Motivation will donate 50 wheelchairs to children and adults with mobility disabilities from the counties of Arge\u0219, Bucharest, Buz\u0103u, Gala\u021bi, Mehedin\u021bi, Satu Mare, and Neam\u021b.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"996\">Funda\u021bia Dacia pentru Rom\u00e2nia (Dacia for Romania Foundation) aims to remove barriers to physical and social mobility. In this context, it has joined the mission of Motivation Romania Foundation in a partnership based on a simple but essential premise: mobility matters. A wheelchair that is adapted to the user\u2019s needs can make the difference between isolation and inclusion, between dependence and independence. It becomes a bridge to the world and offers people with mobility disabilities the opportunity to change their lives for the better. We are grateful to our partners at the Dacia Foundation for Romania for their generous support and for helping us build inclusion,\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1384\" \/>says Erika Garnier, Coordinator of Wheelchair User Services at Motivation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1464\" data-end=\"1880\">The distribution of the wheelchairs takes place throughout 2025, based on individual assessments of user needs, conducted by Motivation\u2019s regional teams. These assessments follow the World Health Organization\u2019s recommendations for the provision of appropriate mobility equipment.
