Through this partnership, two of our programs with direct impact on the lives of people with disabilities will receive support.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"798\">Autovit.ro is supporting the Wheelchair Fund, our donation program that provides mobility equipment for children and adults with mobility disabilities, as well as the IMPACT program for young people with intellectual disabilities who were formerly institutionalized.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"800\" data-end=\"1029\">As part of this collaboration, 100 people with disabilities will receive wheelchairs adapted to their individual needs, along with the opportunity to live a more independent life and participate actively in their communities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1268\">Additionally, the 22 young people with intellectual disabilities in Motivation\u2019s care will receive access to therapy and support services that help them become more independent and develop communication and social interaction skills.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1955\">\u201cMobility means more than just being able to move \u2014 it means having the freedom to build your own path and the chance to live a dignified and independent life. The support provided by Autovit.ro helps us set in motion the lives of 100 people with mobility disabilities through the donation of appropriate mobility equipment, and offer the 22 young people in the IMPACT program a future full of opportunities.<br data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1683\" \/>This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to social inclusion, disability rights, and community responsibility. By supporting these two programs, we aim to contribute to building a more inclusive society where every individual has the chance to reach their full potential.\u201d<br data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2362\" \/>\u2014 Andrei Dumu\u021ba, General Manager, Autovit.ro<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2417\" data-end=\"2768\">The partnership activities will be carried out throughout 2025.<br \/>\nThe wheelchairs will be distributed to people with mobility disabilities across the country, based on individual assessments conducted by Motivation\u2019s regional teams, following the World Health Organization guidelines for the provision of appropriate mobility equipment. The donated wheelchairs are received from international partners and are assembled and refurbished in the Motivation workshop.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2902\" data-end=\"3123\">\u00a0For individuals in need of a wheelchair, Motivation offers the Wheelchair User Call Center: 0800 030 762 \u2014 a toll-free number available Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 16:00 and Friday from 09:00 to 14:00.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3125\" data-end=\"3439\">Through the <a href=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/support-motivation\/\">Wheelchair Fund<\/a>, Motivation Romania Foundation donates over 1,000 quality wheelchairs every year \u2014 new or refurbished \u2014 to children and adults with mobility disabilities. Some of the<a href=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/lives-changed-for-the-better\/\"> stories of those who received appropriate mobility equipment<\/a> through the Wheelchair Fund can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/lives-changed-for-the-better\/\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3441\" data-end=\"3869\"><a href=\"https:\/\/motivation.ro\/en\/the-childrens-stories\/\">The young people in the IMPACT program<\/a> live with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and have been in Motivation\u2019s care since 2003, after being transferred from state institutions. We offer them the protection and warmth of a family, as well as access to therapies that help them discover themselves, improve their communication and social interaction skills, and gain semi-independent living abilities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3871\" data-end=\"4096\">We need more friends to help continue these programs \u2014 through monthly donations or sponsorships.
