Launching conference for the project
Motivation Romania Foundation launched Thursday, November 13, for the first time at the national level, the European project ”The Abilities Abilities Matter in the Market Economy”, which aims to increase the participation of vulnerable groups in the labor market and in economic and social life. Training program for the staff
- Training course on Wheelchair assessment, recommendation, provision and adjusting, organized between February 16 to 20, in Bucharest. The training course was attended by 10 persons from the social businesses established within the project, out of which 4 are wheelchair users and 8 received certificates for graduating the training course. As a result of the training course, the participants are prepared to recognize and to apply the key steps in which concerns wheelchair provision: assessment, prescription, financing, fitting the wheelchair, assembling, training the users, maintenance, repariments and monitoring. Exchange of best practices
- November 13th, Buzău. On November 13, 22 specialists from Motivation Romania Foundation and the national partners in the project met in Buzău for an exchange of best practices. The main topics covered were procurement and financial procedures, the sheltered unit, working proceures, the services provided by the social businesses: adapted transportation, repairing and adjusting mobility equipment, and contracts intermediation, as well as advertising and promotional activities. The purpose of the meeting was to establish a common approach and to plan the activities within the project.
- January 28/30 2015, Bucharest. Between January 28th to 30, we organized a best practices exchange meetings in Bucharest, that was attended by the 8 managers of the social businesses established within the project and the 5 coordinators of the activities of the national partners, as well as by the management and implementing team of the project.
