Online course “Services for Wheelchair Users”, accredited for Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Motivation Romania Foundation, a provider of Continuing Medical Education (CME), announces the organization of the online course “Services for Wheelchair Users”, dedicated to physiotherapy professionals and physiotherapy students in Romania.

Through this course, Motivation Romania Foundation aims to respond to the practical needs of physiotherapy professionals, by facilitating access to applied knowledge, hands-on experience, and models of best practices in the delivery of services for wheelchair users. The goal is to encourage the transfer and adaptation of these models by as many professionals as possible, thereby contributing to the improvement of service quality for people who rely on mobility services.

The course will take place on February 12, 2026, between 12:00 and 4:00 PM (EET), and will be held online, via the Microsoft Teams platform. The event is accredited as a form of CME by the Romanian College of Physiotherapists. 4 CME credits will be awarded exclusively to physiotherapists who attend the entire session.

Participation is free of charge, and the number of places is limited to 20 participants.

The topics covered include: sitting posture in the wheelchair: assessment, adaptations, and prevention of postural deformities; pressure management in sitting and prevention of pressure ulcers; BodiTrak – an innovative system for measuring seating pressure and preventing medical complications.

The online course “Services for Wheelchair Users” is delivered by physiotherapists with over 10 years of experience in providing mobility services for people with disabilities.
