Motivation Romania Foundation announces the launch of a partnership with Autovit.ro, part of OLX Group – the largest online platform in Romania for buying and selling new and used cars. Through this partnership, two of our programs with direct impact on the lives of people with disabilities will receive support.
Autovit.ro is supporting the Wheelchair Fund, our donation program that provides mobility equipment for children and adults with mobility disabilities, as well as the IMPACT program for young people with intellectual disabilities who were formerly institutionalized.
As part of this collaboration, 100 people with disabilities will receive wheelchairs adapted to their individual needs, along with the opportunity to live a more independent life and participate actively in their communities.
Additionally, the 22 young people with intellectual disabilities in Motivation’s care will receive access to therapy and support services that help them become more independent and develop communication and social interaction skills.

The partnership activities will be carried out throughout 2025.
The wheelchairs will be distributed to people with mobility disabilities across the country, based on individual assessments conducted by Motivation’s regional teams, following the World Health Organization guidelines for the provision of appropriate mobility equipment. The donated wheelchairs are received from international partners and are assembled and refurbished in the Motivation workshop.
For individuals in need of a wheelchair, Motivation offers the Wheelchair User Call Center: 0800 030 762 — a toll-free number available Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 16:00 and Friday from 09:00 to 14:00.
Through the Wheelchair Fund, Motivation Romania Foundation donates over 1,000 quality wheelchairs every year — new or refurbished — to children and adults with mobility disabilities. The young people in the IMPACT program live with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and have been in Motivation’s care since 2003, after being transferred from state institutions. We offer them the protection and warmth of a family, as well as access to therapies that help them discover themselves, improve their communication and social interaction skills, and gain semi-independent living abilities.
