Motivation Romania Foundation announces the extension of its partnership with Autovit.ro, part of the OLX Group, the largest online platform in Romania for buying and selling new and used vehicles. The collaboration will continue in 2026, with the aim of supporting people with disabilities through programs that contribute to increased autonomy and improved quality of life.
In 2025, Autovit.ro supported two of Motivation Romania Foundation’s key programs: the Wheelchair Fund, dedicated to children and adults with physical disabilities, and the IMPACT Program, designed for young people with intellectual disabilities taken over from foster care and state institutions.
Thanks to this support, 100 people with physical disabilities received adapted wheelchairs, giving them the chance for a more independent life and active participation in the community, while 22 young people in the IMPACT Program benefited from therapies and support services to develop independent living skills, communication, and social interaction.
Extending the partnership means continuing interventions in the same areas — mobility, autonomy, and social inclusion — ensuring sustainable long-term impact.

Activities within the extended partnership will continue throughout the year, including individual needs assessments for people with physical disabilities across the country, the distribution of appropriate mobility equipment in line with World Health Organization recommendations, and ongoing support for young people in the IMPACT Program through personalized therapies and services.
Iulian’s Story – A Journey Toward Independent Living
Iulian is 26 years old and has been using a wheelchair for three years following an accident. The mobility equipment he received from Motivation Romania Foundation, with the support of Autovit.ro, is adapted to his needs — active, lightweight, and properly fitted — helping prevent further medical complications.
After the training provided by the Motivation team, Iulian achieved things he never thought possible: transferring safely, maneuvering his wheelchair with greater confidence, overcoming obstacles, and improving his self-care skills. Meeting other wheelchair users and hearing their stories helped him gain confidence and no longer feel alone on his path toward an active and independent life.
Iulian is one of the 100 people who received properly fitted wheelchairs with the support of Autovit.ro.
