We end 2022 with a sporting event. The Romanian Basketball Federation 3×3 Wheelchair Cup was organized by the Motivation Romania Foundation on December 19, in Buzău, with the support of the Romanian Basketball Federation, the Ministry of Sports and the Buzău County Sports and Youth Directorate.

22 athletes from Ilfov, Prahova, Dâmbovița, Galați, Neamț counties and from the Republic of Moldova formed six teams and faced each other on the Romeo Iamandi Sports Hall in Buzău. Instead of carols, there was the sound of spinning wheels, requests for passes between teammates, and the ball hitting the backboard and the basket.
