Donations for Motivation Romania`s Wheelchair Fund are active November 27 through December 31, 2018, on the Global Giving international platform. Our goal is to raise $ 5,000 from 40 unique donors by the end of this year.

The donation process is easy: donors have single and recurring donation buttons for the project, as well as suggestions for a donation sum of their choice. In addition, for donors in the United States and the United Kingdom, donations via Global Giving are tax deductible.

The Wheelchair Fund is a project whereby Motivation Foundation donates every year over 1,000 wheelchairs to Romanians with mobility disabilities. Recipients are children and adults with mobility disabilities resulting from driving accidents, swimming, falling from height, accidents at work, etc. A personalized wheelchair is important in that it enables their user to resume life before the accident, to become active and independent.

Through the Wheelchair Fund, Motivation Romania donates new or reconditioned, high-quality wheelchairs. Team Motivation ensures that each wheelchair is appropriate for the mobility needs and the user’s lifestyle, enabling them to become active and independent.
