I think I found out about The Motivation Romania and the text message donations campaign on Facebook. I have been a person with disabilities for 25 years and I have spent a lot of this time in hospitals in Romania.

I will never forget those wheelchairs in hospitals, with no rubber on the wheel, no seat cushions, and especially the fact that there was only one wheelchair on the floor.

I know what it means not to be able to move and not to have that freedom of movement that a custom wheelchair gives you.

The Wheelchair Fund is the initiative whereby you, as an individual or a company representative, give back freedom of movement to children and adults with mobility disabilities in Romania, via custom wheelchairs donated to those who need them.

The beneficiaries are children and adults who have a mobility disability from birth or acquired as a result of a car accident, a plunge, a fall from height, etc.
